Punch by Artem Smirnov is a new concept of electric urban motorcycle that is designed to be compact, efficient, and suitable for use in megacities and old towns. It comes with two quick-detachable battery packs that can be charged inside your apartment, eliminating the need for gasoline and enabling you to store the motorcycle in a small space, such as a stairway or a bar.
The electric motor is chosen as the propulsion unit for technical reasons, such as zero emissions, high dynamics and acceleration, and the absence of a gearbox. The design of the motorcycle is inspired by the Supermotards concept, which was popularized in the 80s in Paris.
It features a modest weight, compact dimensions, high ground clearance, spoke wheels, and elongated suspension travel. All of these design elements are tailored for aggressive city driving, as well as for pleasure riding on empty streets at night.
The motorcycle has a top speed of 120 km/h for the full-power version and 105 km/h for the A1 version.
