Swedish company Cake have designed an electric off-road dirt bike named Kalk. The lightweight motorcycle, weighing just 155 lbs, is powered by a 15 kW motor and a 1.8 volt, 50Ah battery. The electric off-road bike is capable of achieving 50 mph and has a range of 50 miles on a single charge. It is also fitted with tunable regenerative braking system.
The motor and the battery pack has enough juice to let you enjoy the bike in active trail riding for about 2 hours. The fast charger allows you to charge the battery from 0-80% in just 1.5 hours in a standard electric outlet. Remaining 20% charge takes 2.5 hours to complete.
The electric dirt bike comes with upside down forks featuring 38mm stanchion tubes with 204mm travel. Forks are adjustable for high-speed compression, low-speed compression and low-speed rebound. Specially developed by Öhlins, the forks are equipped with Öhlins advanced 3 stage air springs with individual setup for ride heights and bottoming resistance. The rear suspension is Öhlins TTX22 with CAKE internals and specific spring and has 205mm travel.
